Most voltage-stabilized source generally adopted by audio amplifier is serial, parallel and switching power supply design etc. The former two kinds of voltage-stabilized source in voltage regulator transistors are mainly single-end configuration with defalcation of low efficiency, slow response and interference in transient power, particularly lag reaction of pulse interference, so it can not be better applicable to complicated situation of nowadays industrial frequency electric network. In order to resolve this problem SEPP voltage-stabilized source has been designed.
The voltage-stabilized source’s positive and negative voltage is symmetrical output (Fig.2). In it Ic3-4 is sampling amplifier using low-noise OP amplifier. Reference voltage electric circuit of in-phase terminal adopts integrated circuit with high voltage stability; thereby it assures the output voltage stabilization and low noise. Because the working voltage of OP amplifier has been properly designed, this stage can offer a more ideal operating mode------sampling frequency of the sampling amp is 1 and sampling for AC/DC is 100%, getting a thoroughly feedback in AC/DC variation of loading. Bias feed in output transistor uses adjustable constant-current source circuit, ensuring stability of final stage and mass-produced conformance.
Final stage is PP(SEPP) operating mode which is good for improving circuitry transient behavior, raise the level of parameters such as frequency response, response speed and output internal impedance etc.
With quick response speed, wide frequency response, low output internal impedance, low ripple and strong load capability, every technology parameter that this style of SEPP voltage-stabilized source offers is quite excellent. It is better to reject pulse interference from industrial electric network than the ones which are serial and parallel. Output noise of total frequency band is only 10Uv (RMS) and from zero-load to full-load the noise quantity at output end can keep invariable just like characteristic of storage battery. Both every technology parameter and sense of listening is more sophisticated than serial and parallel ones which are being widely used.
